If Cillian Murphy didn't play Oppenheimer, who else could have pulled it off? 🤔

Hypothetically if Cillian Murphy didn't play the title role, what other actor do you think you have convincingly pull it off? My pick is probably an unconventional one but for some reason I think Michael Fassbender could have done a wonderful job. Not necessarily known for this type of role but a magnificent actor at least comparable in skill to Murphy. Would love to see Nolan and Fassbender connect one day, perhaps in the oft-rumoured 'The Prisoner' movie. Discuss!
